Find the Ball
Privacy policy · Updated October 20, 2026
Thimblerig: Find the Ball is developed by SmolkAI. No account with us is required to play.
Game data on your device
The app saves scores, game history, preferences, achievements, icon unlocks and Daily Challenge results on your device. On iPhone and iPad, Daily Challenge results are also shared locally with the app's Home Screen widget through Apple's app-group storage. Mac and Apple TV don't offer this widget. Icon selection is available on iPhone and iPad. We don't operate a server that receives your gameplay data. Copies made through your device's backup or transfer features are controlled by your device and Apple settings.
Advertising and analytics
This version is free and has no advertising or analytics SDKs. It doesn't collect advertising identifiers, track you across apps or websites, or sell your data.
Apple services
If you use Game Center, Apple handles your Game Center account, scores and achievements under Apple's privacy policy. The app can submit scores and achievement progress to Game Center. Apple also handles App Store transactions and purchase restoration. Any entitlement saved by the app is a record of access, not your payment-card details.
Optional reminders
On iPhone, iPad and Mac, daily reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device at the time you choose. Apple TV doesn't schedule reminders. Notifications require your permission. You can turn them off in the app's Settings or in your device's notification settings.
Sharing and support
On platforms that offer score sharing, sharing opens the system share sheet. Apple TV doesn't offer score sharing. Information you choose to share goes to the destination you select.
If you email us, we receive the address and message you send so we can respond to your question. Don't include sensitive information in a support message. For privacy questions, contact privacy@smolkin.org.
This website
This website uses our self-hosted Umami service to count page visits, demo plays, sharing actions and App Store link clicks. Shared links include campaign labels so we can count visits from player referrals. The labels don't identify the person sharing or the recipient. We don't receive your contacts or chosen sharing destination, and a share action doesn't tell us whether someone received the link or installed the app. These website measurements are separate from the game; the game has no analytics SDK. We don't send your game scores or results to the website. If you choose Challenge a friend, your browser opens its share sheet or copies this page's link for you.
Children
The app doesn't require players to provide personal information. We don't knowingly collect children's personal information through gameplay.
Changes
We may update this policy when the app's data practices change. The date above identifies this version.
