A small look inside

Real app recording
Today, saved favorites and reading plans, recorded in Daily Verse. Silent video with English captions and playback controls.
Read a text overview

The app opens on Today's KJV passage. Favorites keeps a saved copy of that passage to revisit. The Plans tab offers reading plans to follow at your own pace. This recording was captured on October 16, 2026, before the current release; the passage and date reflect that day.

A little structure

Follow a reading plan and mark your progress. Set a local reminder for a moment that fits your day.

KJV, ASV 1901 and WEB Classic are bundled for all 365 daily passages and 90 topical-plan entries. Daily Verse is a curated companion, rather than a complete Bible reader. The longer reading plans provide references to read in your own Bible.

Questions about the app

What Scripture is included?

The app contains 365 curated King James Version passages, organized by monthly themes. Use the verse calendar to explore them. It isn't a complete Bible reader, and search covers the featured verses.

Which translations are included?

Choose KJV, ASV 1901 or WEB Classic for every daily passage and topical-plan entry. The longer Bible in a Year and Psalms Monthly plans provide references to read in your own Bible.

How do reading plans work?

Bible in a Year and Psalms Monthly give you passage references to read in your own Bible. The Comfort, Strength and Wisdom plans include selected verse text and reflection prompts. Mark a day complete to save your progress.

Can I back up my favorites?

In Favorites, open Export / Import and choose Export Favorites to share your collection as JSON. To restore it, choose Import Favorites and paste the exported JSON. Existing favorites are skipped.

This export contains favorites; it doesn't include personal notes or reading-plan progress.

How do I set a reminder?

In Settings, turn on Daily Verse Reminder, allow notifications on your device and choose Notification Time. The app schedules reminders locally for up to seven days and refreshes them when you reopen it.

If a reminder doesn't appear, check the app's notification permission and your device's Focus settings.

Does it work offline?

Scripture and fonts are bundled in the app, so reading doesn't need an internet connection. Favorites, notes, reading progress and preferences stay on your device. No account is required, and the app has no ads or analytics.
